time is just flying by when you’re having fun, isn’t it?
I think our my third week was more relaxing than the two one before, luckily.
I finally started with the training at the Dam. I have a girl’s team on Monday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. which is composed of an advanced Canoe Polo player and two beginners who can’t swim.
This is why I have with them also one hour swimming lesson a week. On Thursday I had a boy’s group also from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This team is composed of 2 advanced Canoe Polo players and 4 beginners.
On Wednesday I bring Vivian, Rizardo and Valentino ( the advanced Canoe Polo players) to the training in Windhoek at the Olympia Swimming Pool. The training starts at 6 p.m. and finishes at 8 p.m. In this way I give them the possibility to train with other good Canoe Polo players and compete with them.
Despite my project and the school lessons , I’ve also a social life, I’ve finally met the Volunta volunteers who live in Rehoboth. They invited Aaron and me tho braai at their home, which was very nice. The guys are friendly and cool.
At the weekend the ASC volunteers in Windhoek came to the Dam where we had a really good time by sunbathing, swimming in the lake, paddling out with the canoes at sunset and chilling at the resort.
I hope I will write soon,
